My dad always called me a Johnny Appleseed. Love to plant stuff, hate to weed and take care of it. When I started seeing microgreen videos on YouTube I was intrigued. Plant, water, harvest. That’s about it. Oh, and a whole lot of planning which appeals to my past life as a computer programmer.
What I didn’t foresee was how much I would enjoy the relationships. Getting to know local chefs. Talking to customers at the farmer’s market. Seeing the creative ways my products are being used all over town. It is very rewarding to go out to dinner and have my plate presented with produce that was in my basement that morning.
Everything I deliver is grown to order and cut within 24 hours of delivery to ensure the highest quality and shelf-life. Because I am a one person operation I can also be fairly flexible. Want the stems cut shorter? Sure thing. Looking for a mix that I don’t currently offer? Heck yeah. Prefer a larger size clamshell? I can do that.
